2014: Was elevated to the team’s active roster in Week 3 vs. Green Bay (9/21) and finished his first NFL game with two solo tackles, including one tackle for loss. Saw action in 13 games this season and finished with three solo tackles and two special teams tackles.

COLLEGE
Began his college career at Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia and Eastern Arizona Junior College before transferring to Memphis, where he played the 2009 and 2010 seasons. Was one of Nebraska’s highest junior college prospects in 2012 before signing to play for the Huskers that season. Finished his career at Nebraska with 16 tackles (11 solo) and one pass breakup in 24 games (one start).

2013: Played in 12 games, including a start in the season opener against Wyoming, where he had a season-high three tackles.

  • Tied his season high with three tackles against Southern Miss and added two more against Illinois.
  • Picked up his only pass breakup of his career against Purdue.

2012: Missed the first two games of his first season as a Husker due to injury, but rebounded to play in the final 12 games. Finished the year with seven tackles.

PERSONAL
Played his high school football for head coach Bill Renner at West Springfield (Va.) High School, where he helped the 2007 team to a 10-3 record and a trip to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years. Finished his prep career with 35 tackles, four picks, 10 pass defenses and one forced fumble as a senior in 2007, earning first team all-district honors.
