2013: Only played in seven games due to injury, but finished his senior season with 12 receptions for 158 yards (13.2 avg) and two touchdowns.

  • Recorded a career-high six receptions in the team’s season opener against Arkansas. Ended the game with 77 receiving yards and one touchdown.

2012: Saw action in all 13 games at tight end, finishing fifth on the team with 19 catches for career-highs in receiving yards (185) and receiving touchdowns (four).

  • Caught at least one pass in 11 games, and opened up the season with three catches for 23 yards and a touchdown vs. Lamar (9/1).
  • Hauled in touchdown passes against Louisiana-Monroe, Florida International and South Alabama.

2011: Played in all 13 games as a reserve tight end and on special teams, finishing second on the team in special teams tackles with 10 (seven solo). Caught all three of his passes in the season opener at Oklahoma State (9/3).

2010: Redshirted.

PERSONAL
Earned his reputation as a run-blocking tight end with the ability to catch key passes in the open field at Pearl River (La.) High School. Concluded his prep career with 27 receptions for 640 yards and 12 touchdowns. Averaged 35.2 yards per catch during his senior season and also doubled as the team’s punter.
