Biography

A former tight end turned offensive lineman at San Diego State, played all four years for the Aztecs and logged 50 career games (38 starts), including 27 consecutive starts to close out his career. Began his college career as a pass-catcher (2010-11) where he recorded 14 receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown before switching to tackle in 2012.

COLLEGE
A former tight end turned offensive lineman at San Diego State, played all four years for the Aztecs and logged 50 career games (38 starts), including 27 consecutive starts to close out his career. Began his college career as a pass-catcher (2010-11) where he recorded 14 receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown before switching to tackle in 2012.

  • Was one of only three Aztec players in school history to play in four consecutive bowl games without utilizing a redshirt season.

2013: Named Second Team All-Mountain West by the league’s coaches and media after being selected team captain. Allowed just three sacks on 492 quarterback drop-backs as the starting left tackle for all 13 games.

  • Helped the running back combination of Adam Muema (1,244 yards, 15 touchdowns) and Donnel Pumphrey (752 yards, eight touchdowns) rush for a combined 1,996 yards and 23 touchdowns in 13 games.

2012: In his first season along the offensive line, started all 13 games for the conference-champion Aztecs and earned Honorable Mention All-Mountain West recognition.

  • Started his first-career game at left tackle in the season opener at Washington.

2011: As a sophomore, started 10-of-13 games at tight end and finished the season with nine catches for 64 yards.

  • Recorded a career-high four receptions for 32 yards in a win over Washington State.

2010: Became the only freshman in the 2010 signing class to start in a game, playing in 11 contests overall (two starts). Concluded his freshman season with five catches for 66 yards and one touchdown.

  • Made his collegiate debut at No. 25 Missouri.
  • Caught his first pass on a 28-yard touchdown grab on fourth down against Utah State.

PERSONAL
A three-star recruit by Rivals.com at Granite Hills (Calif.) High School, earned 2008 and 2009 All-Desert Sky League selections and was named to the All-CIF Eastern Division team as a senior, setting seven school records at tight end.
