"The offense's performance last game wasn't up to par at all with what we expect. Didn't make the plays at the beginning of the game, which would have made our lives a lot easier. I don't want to say it trickled down, but we've got to start off fast for the young guys to give them a good example.
"We just have to tighten up on our assignments and we've just got to make plays. It's that simple. Just be where you're supposed to be at, when you're supposed to be there and make your plays. That's all it boils down to.
"That's what I learned when I first got in the league with Mike Martz: be where you're supposed to be when you're supposed to be there -- you'll make a play.
"First group of wide receivers has just got to be more productive ... point blank. We've got to produce, we've got to get down the field and we have to put points on the board. We're the first group and we didn't really do that.
"For this next game, we have to focus on being assignment-sound. Make all our plays. Put points on the board.
"You make explosive plays -- you make plays, period -- we put points on the board. I think we definitely need to come out and put some TDs up, more so than field goals -- especially the first group.
"We are still in training camp, so we're still figuring things out. We've just got to make sure we work off one another. We've got to be sharp."
